When you're preparation your Disneyland holiday, you should note that some days are better than, others at the park. The days that you choose to be there will depend greatly on whether you are more Concerned in attractions or amusement – or both.
For example, Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s are the days when you'll have shorterlines for the attractions, because there will be fewer people there. On the other hand, the entertainment on those nights cannot compare to the entertainment that is offered on the weekends. If entertainment is important, plan your visit to Disneyland for the weekend.
If you'll be at Disneyland for several days, however, plan to ride the attractions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and then enjoy the entertainment, as well as the other things the park has to offer on the other days. If you are visiting during the off-season,
you should note that entertainment usually isn’t offered on weekdays. Also remember that the park really fills as the day wears on, so try to ride the attractions in the morning if possible!
When Is The finest Time To Be At Disneyland?
Disney In One Day … Is It Possible ?
As a Florida villa owner, this is one of the most commonly asked questions I receive from guests. In truth, there is no definitive answer. Various factors will affect your ability to seek out all that Disney has to offer within a limited timescale, but with a little common sense and some handy tips, you’ll certainly be on track to achieving your goal!
So here is a list of ideas to help smooth your day:
1: Ensure everyone has a hearty breakfast. The “all you can eat breakfast buffets” are very popular, or diners such as Dennys offer excellent value for money.
2: Buy your Disney tickets in advance to save valuable time standing in line at the ticket window when you arrive at your chosen park.
3: Choose which Disney Park you are going to visit. Fairly obvious ~ But you would be amazed how many families just head off to Disney, and then decide in the car ! Not conducive to good debate or safe driving !
4: Arrive early. Check the park times and arrive when the gates open. It will give you a head start on those guests who take a leisurely breakfast and arrive mid morning.
5: Pick up a couple of park maps and timetables at the park entrance. This way if any members of your party decide to split up, you can easily arrange a meeting point to find each other again, as there is no excuse for getting lost.
6: Talking of getting lost. Don’t allow members of your group to just wander off. Before anyone separates from your group for whatever reason, decide on a specific meeting point, to link up again. Many valuable minutes can be wasted looking for a “wanderer” !
7: When you enter the park, go straight to the farthest attraction, and work backwards toward the front entrance during the day.
8: If you travel in a counter clockwise direction around the parks, your journey time will be quicker, as most folks enter a park and turn right ~ it’s a right handed thing !)
9: Decide ahead of time which attractions if any you want to miss out, and any that are definite must sees.
10: Co-ordinate your travels in conjunction with the various parades and shows that are continually being performed throughout the day.
11: Take advantage of Disney’s Fast Pass service, which allows you to avoid the lines at the more popular attractions, by giving you a designated ride time. Details are available at the entrance to all participating rides.
12: There is usually one big afternoon parade and up to two night time parades. However, if parades are not your thing, these times are an excellent opportunity to visit other attractions, as the majority of guests will be out on the streets waving at Mickey Mouse !
13: Taking a supply of nutritional snacks and fruit will save you time and money, as opposed to waiting in restaurants.
14: Use the Tip Boards. All Disney parks have Tip Boards, showing the average wait time for each attraction. This information is updated regularly throughout the day.
15: Save any shopping until you are ready to exit the park. Shops will stay open for at least an hour after the park officially closes, and if you buy your souvenirs as you exit, it will save you having to carry them around the park all day !
So is it possible to “do Disney in a day” ? Probably not ! Although the above tips will give you a better chance than “Mr and Mrs Average”. Seasoned veterans of theme parks may be able to notch up every ride and attraction on their visit, but they have the advantage of being on familiar territory.
The good news however is that there is always something different, new and exciting to see, experience and explore in a Disney park, so even if you don’t manage to cross off everything on your theme park list, there is no better excuse for a return visit at a more leisurely pace !
Hotel Safety Tips For Follow When Traveling With Kids

Whether you’ve booked your entire family into an all inclusive kid friendly resort or are just camping at a hotel, make sure you have all precautions for your children’s safety outlined. Thus is not to make you paranoid but your hotel is also home to hundreds of strangers, guests, staff and service people who use the premises on a regular basis.
Never let your child play unsupervised in any part of the hotel. Whether in the garden, by the pool or just hanging out at the arcade, there must always be an adult supervising.
Make sure the locks in your room are working properly.
If the room has a balcony, make sure the door is locked. Lock all windows too.
Use duct tape to seal off the open switches. Kids can stick their fingers in these leading to disastrous consequences.
Teach your kids never to open the door, no matter who they think is on the other side without asking you first.
Follow the same rule yourself. If someone is at your door and he says he’s hotel staff and you have no peephole in the door to verify if he’s a staff member, make a call to the reception desk or housekeeping, and inquire if they have sent a staff member to your room. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Always book a hotel which has a babysitting service. If you want to go out as a couple, never do it when the kids are fast asleep.
Check if the bathroom is safe enough for kids to use. If there are cracked or slippery tiles, ask for another room.
Make sure the crib provided in the hotel room is safe.
Don’t give out your room number to anyone, even other guests that you might have gotten friendly with. This might not seem dangerous when you’re traveling solo or as a couple, but when you add kids to the equation, a certain amount of caution is best.
Never entertain new friends or guests in your hotel room. Keep all your entertaining to outside the room, once you have managed to lave your kids at the hotel babysitting service.
If you’re a single woman using the hotel lift with a child and a stranger gets in, get off the lift and wait for your turn again.
You don’t have to be neurotic about your child’s safety and ruin his trip. But the above are must follows that will ensure a safe and happy trip.

Simply lounging by the beach, having a massage and spa treatment, or visiting museums and art galleries are the most preferred activities by parents who visit Jamaica. More adventurous parents may also immerse themselves in various water sports such as swimming, jet skiing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. There are also bike tracks available that can be traversed by novice and expert bikers.
Teenagers and college kids also enjoy staying by the beach, enjoying various water sports, most notably scuba diving, snorkeling, and wake boarding. They also enjoy going to popular nightspots with live reggae performers. Jamaicans are not as strict as other countries and do not strictly employ age limits in bars and with drinking alcoholic beverages. An assortment of activities for children is also offered in Jamaica such as water sports and nature trails. Playing in the pristine sands of Jamaica's beaches may already prove to be fun enough for children. In this event, consumers are asked to thoroughly check the services of the hotels or resorts that they plan to stay in, including the range of activities they offer. It is also helpful to ask whether these activities are inclusive of hotel rates.
